My name is Ana Luiza Zappelini, I'm 32 years old, Brazilian with Italian nationality. I chose architecture as my professional path, but even before getting here, I was always connected to art in some form—whether it was music, poetry, my grandmother's paintings, or my father's cooking.
I graduated in 2015 from the University of Southern Santa Catarina, Brazil. During my studies, I worked with public departments in my municipality, involved in major government projects aimed at developing my hometown. After graduation, I focused on personal projects and quickly found myself working with high-end furniture companies, Formus and La Casa Di Mobili, where I concentrated on project management and direct sales to clients.
From a young age, I’ve always aimed to gain experiences in diverse countries. In January 2022, I fulfilled one of my dreams by living in Italy for three intense months, immersing myself in the rich history of art. Not long after, I received an offer to work at Ortogonal, an engineering and construction supervision company in Lisbon, Portugal—a field I had always been curious about, and that greatly contributed to my professional and personal growth.
After two years, I decided to return to my roots in creative project development. Currently, I work as an architect and interior designer at Grupo Something Imaginary in Lisbon. In addition to the projects I undertake at the studio, I also oversee construction sites in the Alentejo and Comporta regions.
